We initially contacted Nick to replace our aging deck, but ended up using him as the general contractor for the deck replacement, replacement of the soffits, and to oversee the installation of a new stucco exterior and gutter replacement for our house.
He committed to a timeframe that worked for our schedule as well as his, and he met the deadlines as expected. He, as well as all the members of his team, was professional and courteous, and best of all, he communicated with us throughout the months-long project. Near the end of the project we had a family emergency that took us out of town for several weeks, and upon our return, we found the project completed to our full expectations.

Very impressed by the work done by Kanata Construction. Nic was easy to work with and was able to bring my crude drawing to life. He constantly kept me informed and asked questions as he moved through the project. I was remote some of the time and Nic would text me with questions or updates and often sent me pictures of the daily progress. His extra helpers were also very professional as well. The project was completed on time and on budget. I would highly recommend Kanata Construction and would definitely call on Nic for any future projects.
Nic and the Kanata team were instrumental to transform the main floor of our dated log and wood frame cabin into a modern mountain home. Nic is hardworking, skilled and passionate about his craft.
We had a serious issue with our new construction. A dangerous and under-constructed mess was carried out by our previous builder. It just so happens that Kanata was sent to make the repairs. Of course, at this point, we were suspicious of everyone. But soon Kanata’s care, precision, professionalism, and communication overcame all our apprehension. They essentially rebuilt the entire project. They consulted and communicated with us on every detail. Kanata transformed a fiasco, which took all the enthusiasm for our retirement move, to a very positive experience. I can not recommend them more.
